The airport opens the sky for traveling to far-away cities. Tourism benefits greatly from plane traffic. Airport needs a road connection but can be freely placed on the map.
The Airport cannot be on sloped places. At first, your airport may not gain attraction but the best way is to place bus stops nearby.
